05/14/18 - I hired Kieran and his team to restore the plaster throughout my home, which dates from the 1890s. I am beyond thrilled with the results. We had extensive cracking and separation of the plaster from the underlying bricks and wood lath. The results are incredible. Our walls are now smooth and solid and look amazing. I highly recommend Bestwall Plastering.
12/28/17 - Needed plaster repair on walls and ceiling after water damage caused by a broken pipe. Bestwall Plastering are professional and experienced they removed the damaged parts of the wall and ceiling and repaired them perfectly. After a week, they came back and painted the whole room for me. Excellent job. Would recommend.
06/21/17 - Kieran was incredibly professional. He arrived exactly on time and started working immediately. He covered every single area of the room in plastic before doing any plaster. He finished in a timely fashion and cleaned up the entire room before he left. It was like he was never there. He did an absolutely brilliant job!! Would hire him again in a heartbeat. He's a great guy.

04/6/17 - I contacted them to get an estimate, they came and gave me a written estimate, I shopped around as I initially thought it was expensive, however after meeting a few other contractors, I realized that it was not that pricey as I was getting a better service and product. The walls and ceiling were repaired to perfection and I could not be happier. Would recommend - very professional, courteous and experienced.
09/23/16 - We bought an older house that needed plaster repair as the condition of the walls, ceilings, were not great, We contacted Bestwall Plastering who came by and provided a written estimate and explained the process, time frame. They started within a week and the job went well, the end result is that our house looks like new, they used the old plastering methods not compound/spackle the whole process was clean not to much dust they were on time ,easy going and worked hard. Overall we had a great experience and would use again.
09/20/16 - The process was great and the work impeccable. It was easy to set up the consultation, which is $75 but applies to the cost of your job should you proceed. This is well worth it as Bestwall are expert plasterers, not some fly by night home improvement shop trying to make a quick buck. Even if you don't use them the information from the consultation can be used in your planning with another contractor and almost no one knows about plasterwork anymore. The work looks great and was done sooner than expected; they were willing to work weekends in order to finish as quickly as possible. And the best part, Kieran even helped me work with my insurance company so almost none of it came out of my pocket. Great experience, recommend without hesitation.
09/14/16 - We had a pipe break from upstairs, which flooded the ceiling, walls molding. We found it hard to find a contractor who could restore plaster. We were glad to find Bestwall Plastering who provided a written estimate and also helped us with the insurance carrier. They were polite, clean on time The job took 8 days and turned out spectacular. Old school plastering company.
04/21/16 - I was offered 2 choices make it look good or make it as good as new. I chose the good as new since I plan to live in my house for a long while. It was a big job taking a full 5 days (about 65 man hours), 2 days for the living room and a day for each of the bedrooms. The plaster has to cure for 30 days before priming and painting, which I did myself. If you desire Bestwall Plastering will do the priming for you. I could of had the old plaster ripped out and sheet rock installed for less money but I wanted to keep the integrity of the house and I like the advantages of plaster over sheet rock e.g. low sound transmission, better fire resistance. It was amazing to see the difference the repair made, the cracks were all gone, water damage invisible, and small gaps gone. After the priming and painting the ceilings were beautiful and probably looked like they did 100 years ago. My one complaint is that small droplets of plaster on the walls weren't cleaned up in two of the bedrooms. The floors, walls, and furniture that was unable to be removed are protected by plastic sheeting. On the days that these bedrooms were done there was only one laborer and small splashes of plaster on the walls were missed and not wiped up. I cleaned them off latter myself using a drywall mud knife.
03/27/16 - This could not have gone any better. Kieran arrived punctually at the exact time he promised, looked at the cracked ceiling and then gave me his estimate. We arranged to have the work done over Saturday and Sunday. They uses the old fashioned way to repair plaster, using disks drilled into the lath with 4-inch screws, and then uses a mesh, which is later smoothed over with plaster. Nobody had ever repaired my house this way. The result is amazing. My house, located in Brooklyn Heights, built in 1828, had lost many historic details in the past. Fortunately, the way this company did the work, we were able to save and restore the 10-inch ceiling molding as well. As to cleanliness, Kieran used every precaution--covered my tenant's large paintings and removed and numbered the ones small enough to take out of the room, to later replace them where they belong. He also covered the floor, staircase and entrance. Amazing professionalism, punctuality and work quality. Deserves an A+, were that available. And yes, I'll hire him again, to paint the ceiling once it's dry, and to repair my stairs ceiling plaster, where it's cracking around a bend.
11/18/15 - Bestwall Plastering did such a great job on repairing my open ceilings until I could not remember where the openings were. They also repaired my deck to which my town inspected and said they did a great job. I am grateful for their punctuality, professionalism, and fair pricing. Bestwall Plastering even repaired the molding on my walls. They did an excellent job and they completed everything in one day. I cannot stop praising God for this company and telling everyone I know what a great job they did in my home.
10/6/15 - Re-plastered the wall over the chimney. It took about 5.5 hours. He did a great job. Many people came to look at the project, but no one felt qualified to do it until Kieran came.
07/17/15 - PERFECT! Kieran arrived promptly when he said he would be there, gave a fair estimate of the cost and repaired the ceiling the same day. He was very personable, professional and an expert at what he does. I could not be more pleased. I would definitely use him in the future!
06/28/15 - Kieran responded immediately to my call to set up an appointment. He was prompt and professional in explaining what steps needed to be taken to repair the plaster walls in the 77-year old home. He and his assistant began their days early and completed the work as was laid out in Kieran's plan in a timely manner. They took care to work as neatly as possible, although dust from this type of work is inevitable. They cleaned up the workspace when done with the job as well. Kieran's work is exemplary. He is a true professional, and stands behind his work. We followed his advice to wait two to three weeks before painting to allow the plaster to cure. At the end of the curing period, we were getting set to paint, and noticed parts of the finish on one wall did not look as smooth as the others. I described it to Kieran as looking like the veins on the back of your hand. He came the next day to assess the problem, and repaired the sections that needed it that same day. The problem did not recur. Since then, the room has been painted and looks fine. We chose Bestwall Plastering because of the excellent reviews from other customers, and feel confident in giving them the same excellent recommendation.
04/26/15 - Kieran was very prompt with his replies, and gave an honest and professional opinion on what I wanted to be done and what he also suggested to be done. Once I decided to work with him, an opening was available to get the job done within the next couple of days. He and his crew came on time and were able to complete the wall and ceiling within 5-6 hours. They brought in their own equipment and covered and cleaned up during and afterwards where they could. Overall, the job looks fine and I do feel better now that the wall and ceiling have been reinforced to last a long while more.
12/18/14 - Bestwall Plastering repaired a plaster ceiling that had sustained water damage and plastered a ceiling in a bathroom that had been remodeled. These gentlemen are very knowledgeable about their craft, professional, and exceedingly careful of the environment in which they work. I would not hesitate to recommend this company. (Of note, if you are in need of plaster restoration in an historical home/building, do consider this company.)
01/18/14 - The workers showed up promptly at 8:00 and were very professional. They put plastic over every doorway and cleaned up after they were finished.
11/10/14 - Following work to replace electrics in several rooms in an old Brooklyn brownstone, we needed several holes (including some very large ones) patched and plastered over. In addition, plaster work around a ceiling fan needed to be fixed. Kieran responded to my request and followed up quickly. We were able to schedule a day fairly quickly, and Kieran and his team completed the job in one day. I would use them again and am very happy with the entire job.
11/3/14 - Kieran gives quotes same day, responds promptly to calls and completes work at or below the cost of the quote. Kieran listened to my specifications and followed through perfectly. Some parts of our project were small enough that he worked alone but for other parts his assistants came and they were wonderful as well. Worksite was left clean and tidy; workmen were all respectful and helpful. Kieran is truly a craftsman and artisan and he and his assistant did a fabulous job replicating details from around our bay window to add some grace around the fireplace across the room. I would recommend Bestwall for simple plastering as well as restoration and fabrication of architectural details.

10/26/14 - Kieran did an exceptional job, completing transforming our very cracked walls and ceiling into beautiful, clean walls that are as smooth as glass. We have been working with Kieran over the last two years to help us re-plaster the walls and ceilings of our 1901 Victorian. Prior to our home office project, he helped us rehabilitate the plaster walls and ceilings of our front parlor, entry hallway and staircase. We had some very significant plaster issues/cracking, which Kieran completely stabilized. One of his most impressive projects with us was to replace some wedding cake detail, which had sustained water damage and been sanded of in one corner of the ceiling. Kieran and his team made a mold of another corner, which was still in tact and installed the mold in the damaged area, perfectly blending the detail in the old design with the newly molded area. His work was so perfect that our friends and neighbors can't believe that section of the ceiling isn't original. Kieran is a true artisan. He is incredibly detailed and always walks through his work with us at the end of the project to make sure that we are completely happy with the end result. He's incredibly patient with us in answering all our questions. Most important, he is incredibly respectful of our home. Plasterwork can be incredibly dusty, but Kieran always leaves everything clean at the end of every workday. And, it's always comforting to know that we can leave him and his crew to complete the project while we're off at work. Plasterwork can be expensive, but compared to other contractors' estimates/portfolios of work; Kieran's work is well priced. We plan to enlist his help with our remaining room projects.
10/22/14 - We used Bestwall Plastering to repair a damaged wall, and based upon the job they did, I can highly recommend them. We have an older home that has plaster over wood lathe walls. On one section of our dining room wall, the plaster began to come loose from the wood lathe, and bow out. Some cracks had begun to form, and based on our prior experience, we were expecting a tough job. The last time something like this happened, they removed all of the plaster down to the wood lathe, and then had to re-plaster. It was dirty, and took a number of days between each coat of plaster. Once done it took about a week to fully dry. When I called Bestwall, Kieran said he could come by the next Saturday, and would be there at 8:30. From what I described, he thought he might be able to repair the wall that same day. He arrived early, and after looking over the job gave us a written estimate, and explained how he would repair the wall. Using a special fastener he pulled the plaster tight to the lathe. Then he applied a mesh fabric and skim coated the entire section of wall. The area was about 3' by 17', and he was able to have it done by midday. He took his time working, and that gave me a chance to talk with Kieran. I quickly learned that he is a true craftsman, when it comes to plaster. He showed my wife and I some of the ornamental work he's done, and it is truly amazing. When he finished up, he swept up, vacuumed, and then wiped down the floor. He treated our home; as if it was his own, and if it weren’t for the moved furniture you would never have know the work was done that morning. The best recommendation I can give is that since this work was done, we have Kieran scheduled to come back in a few days to work on two other walls that need repair. Having found Kieran, and Bestwall, I don't need to look for anyone else when we have a problem with any of the walls or ceilings. If you have an older home with plaster walls, and particularly if you have any decorative plaster work in you home, call Bestwall if you need to make any repairs. They're the best, and I can highly recommend them. Note: We called them back to do some additional work at our house. Once again they did a great job. Kieran came out with his crew, and worked along side them. They skim coated 2 1/2 plaster walls, and repaired some drywall on an enclosed porch. The walls all came out great. They work very neat, and leave the place clean when they’re done. When they finished Kieran went over the work with me to see if I had and issued, but just like the first time the did some work for us, everything came out great. IF YOU HAVE AN OLDER HOME WITH PLASTER WALLS, MAKE THEM YOUR FIRST CALL IF YOU EVER NEED ANY REPAIRS.

08/24/14 - Bestwall Plastering was great! Kieran is a master at his job. Not only was he extremely responsive, he worked around our tight timelines, and was able to do a phenomenal job. I'm very happy with the end result. We had our walls half-cut due to mold, and he was able to put up new walls/plastering and smooth it out enough where we only had to sand it. He also provided great guidance and direction around some other things in the house. Not to mention he came out to Stamford CT to do the job. I've found my new drywall guy!

08/25/14 - Thanks goodness we finally found Kieran at Bestwall Plastering. Before contacting him, we had talked to several providers and never seemed to get a straight answer about how to deal with the long cracks across our plaster ceiling, which had been repaired poorly before we moved in. Someone even told us we'd have to take the whole ceiling down. Then came Kieran to the rescue. He provided us with a detailed and helpful assessment of the situation, explained that it was an easy fix, and did a beautiful repair in just half a day. Most important was the peace of mind in knowing that our ceiling was in good shape and that he didn't try to sell us on a bigger project than we needed. Kieran is an extremely talented craftsman -- absolutely worth the money to have this done right.
08/9/14 - He was prompt, polite, and worked quickly with a partner. One Saturday they did the plaster repair, and the second Saturday they repainted. They were neat, draped everything and cleaned up afterwards, and all told did a fabulous job! I HIGHLY recommend them!
06/25/14 - It was very good. I would recommend him. After I spoke to him on the phone and discussed what the job was all about, he told me he would come the next day. He came out once to look at the work, then the next day, he came on time with his helper and also helped me with the air conditioner, which was causing the problem. He did an excellent job.
06/21/14 - I contacted Kieran based on other member reviews. He came out for an initial consultation and proposed to “pin” the existing plaster into the joists above using special screws and washers roughly every 10 inches on both sides of the cracks, then apply a two-coat veneer plaster with a fiberglass fabric mesh embedded between the two layers across the whole ceiling (116 sq. ft.). He and his two-man team came out a few weeks later and made the repair. They arrived promptly at the scheduled time. They protected whatever pieces of furniture couldn’t be moved with plastic sheeting and drop cloths on the floor, and sealed off the doorway so no dust would come into other rooms of the apartment. The whole job was done in roughly five hours. They cleaned up as best they could afterward, but since they themselves were covered in plaster dust, there was only so much they could do, and I still had some cleanup after they left with their tools and equipment. Kieran and his two workmen were friendly, courteous and professional. I felt immediately that I could trust them to do the job correctly and with very little hassle, which turned out to be the case. It was a simple, clean and elegant solution to the problem. The ceiling looks beautiful, like new. I would definitely use this company again.
05/31/14 - I like absolutely everything about the work that he did and the way he presented and the way he explained the work. He really helped us understand exactly what he's doing, why and what the issues were and weren't. He was wonderful. There's nothing about him that wasn't wonderful. There's no room for improvement. He's that good. The price was excellent also. He told us to, you know, about the insurance company and how to go about that, they compared the bill et cetera, et cetera. He's also going to give me painting at the end of the month for $14000. The quality is an A+. I'll absolutely use him again in the future.
03/31/14 - Kieran was prompt, professional and very pleasant and friendly. He explained every step of the process, and completed the work right on schedule. My project included re-plastering a wall that ran up a long, steep staircase to my front door. At the end of each day, Kieran completely cleaned the hallway so that the stairs were useable each night. The plaster came out as smooth as glass. I was very happy with the work and will recommend Bestwall to my family and friends.
02/26/14 - Excellent. Kieran was very responsive and professional. Other contractors wanted to rip out all the bedroom walls and reinstall drywall. I'm sure because it is not easy to find a good plaster professional. Kieran was able to repair the bedroom wall for a fraction of the cost.

08/14/13 - Our house is well over 100 yrs old. There was extensive damage to the ceiling in the main hallway above the stairwell and in the master bedroom. Kieran came out to review the project, explained his approach and gave a decent quote on the spot. The price was reasonable especially considering the extent & location of the damage. We decided to proceed right away and Kieran returned in two days to begin work. The work was arduous. There were large areas where plaster had fallen down but using special brackets, Kieran was able to salvage/restore everything. After applying several layers of plaster, the ceilings look great now! Smooth as glass -- you can't tell that there was ever any holes there, it's like a new ceiling! Kieran/Bestwall is great!!! They're very professional, courteous, punctual, honest and a real pleasure to work with. We have other projects for which we will need/use Kieran's expertise....I highly recommend him!!!
04/1/13 - The job went extremely well. There was an area which was not plastered, so I called Mr. Quilligan, and he came over immediately, and completed the job.
04/9/13 - I received a quote from Kieran for this job in November 2012. Because of circumstances beyond my control, I was not able to hire him to do the job until April 2013, but he honored his original quote. There is a charge for him to come and give you a quote, but that is deducted from the bill (I had to remind him about that) if you hire him. He gave me quotes for doing the wall in a traditional plaster system and a sheetrock system. He thoroughly explained the difference and the pros and cons of both. He invites questions and is eager to explain his work. He showed up on time every time (the job took several days). He was always easy to get in touch with. He left my home reasonably neat. The work turned out very nice. I am happy with his work and would recommend him.

It cost a little more, but Kieran was worth it. The process he used involved no sanding and the wall is smooth and perfect. He is truly an artist and takes pride in every job, even a simple wall. I only wish the rest of my walls looked this good now!
11/12/12 - We set up an appointment and Kieran was prompt and reassuring. He explained how the areas would be repaired and re-plastered, gave us a very reasonable quote and set a date to do the work. It was postponed because of the hurricane and loss of power, but he responded as soon as our power was restored, a relief since a second section was bulging even more. The work was completed by midday and looks like new.
08/7/12 - The walls and ceiling in my formal dining room were bad with flaky plaster, they needed to be repaired. There was a molding on the ceiling which I thought could not be repaired but to my surprise, when Bestwall Plastering came to give me the estimate, they told me it can be repaired and they could replace/make a replica of the missing pieces, I was so happy. They re-plastered the walls, the ceiling and repaired the molding. My dining room is fabulous now. I received wonderful service from Bestwall Plastering and will be recommending them to everyone I know.
07/6/12 - KI had an addition to my Victorian home which left an interior door and a large window which had to be replaced with solid plaster to match the rest of the room. Kieran came on July 3rd to see the job and gave an estimate which I found was reasonable. He returned Friday at 8:30 am to perform services. Did a great job. You cannot tell that there was a window and door in the walls that he repaired. I believe that the $75 consultation charge is reasonable for a professional to estimate the cost of a job. The consultation charge was deducted from the cost of the job. I would definitely call him again.

06/12/13 - I contacted Bestwall Plastering to give me an estimate on some drywall and plastering work I needed. They arrived on time for estimate and was very knowledgeable about his profession, you can tell that Kieran knows what he is doing, he examined all the walls and ceilings then gave me a written estimate and explained everything that he was going to do and the time frame that it would take. It was well worth the consultation charge that I was credited to the cost of the job, it was a win win situation for me. On the day of the start of the job, Kieran and his crew arrived on time, they protected the rooms that was not getting any work to, they laid covering on the floors and also plastic so there would be no footprints and dust in my home. They done exactly what they said they told me they were going to do. They made the walls and ceiling perfect. It never looked better. I will recommend them to neighbors and friends if anyone is looking for similar work. The price was great also. Great company.

02/10/13 - I had some electrical work done on my house and the electrician had made several holes to get behind the walls to run new wiring, when he was finished my walls were like Swiss cheese. I called Bestwall Plastering to come for an estimate, they arrived on time and very professional, he walked through my house with me and took note of all the holes, gave me an estimate and the price was excellent, they came back 2 days later and repaired all the holes and skimmed the walls. Great workers, on time, clean and very courteous.
02/6/13 - I had water damage to 2 bedrooms from a leak in my roof, I have an older home so the walls are real plaster not drywall and spackle, so I wanted to the repairs to be done in plaster but a lot of contractors out there don't do real plaster, they drywall and tape, I know that drywall and taping would fix my water damaged walls but I wanted the real thing. I found Bestwall Plastering while searching the internet and their reviews were great so I contacted them. They came and spent an hour with me explaining what needs to be done, how long it was going to take etc. I was delighted. They arrived a couple of days later, removed all the damaged walls and ceiling, installed and plastered everything. It took 2 days. Before they started they protected my floors and stairs, enclosed the rooms with plastic sheet so none of the rest of house would be disturbed while they were working. They were on time every day, very respectful of me and my home. They did an awesome job.
01/3/13 - I came home from work and part of my kitchen ceiling was sitting on the floor. I went on line and searched for plastering/drywall repair contractors, found Bestwall Plastering and as it was an emergency they went out of their way to come and take a look, we agreed a price, date & time for them to do the job. They were great. Glad I found them.
12/3/12 - WOW, doesn't even come close to the reaction I had when I seen the finished walls. It was like night and day. I had bought an old house and there was paneling in the family room I removed some of it thinking i could just paint and be done, but when I started I knew this was more than I could handle so I called in the experts. I went on line and searched for plastering and drywall companies, and found Bestwall Plastering, they came looked at my walls and said no problem, we will fix this for you, gave me an estimate and the price was great. Arranged the day to start, they removed all the paneling and took all the trash with them, (less for me to have to worry about). They fixed and plastered the walls, they are so smooth now, my family room puts the rest of my house to shame, I will be getting them back when I am ready to tackle the hall and stairway (more paneling). Awesome company and magnificent service & craftsmanship.

He explained how the areas would be repaired and re-plastered, gave us a very reasonable quote and set a date to do the work. It was postponed because of the hurricane and loss of power, but he responded as soon as our power was restored, a relief since a second section was bulging even more. The work was completed by midday and looks like new.
11/7/12 - My utility room which is built in to my back porch had water damage from a recent storm, I was not sure what was the best option for repair, I had a few contractors come and explain to me what need to be done, 2 of them wanted to do spackle and taping which was a cheap but very messy and dusty option. Bestwall Plastering came and told me they could replace the drywall and use a veneer plaster which was a little more expensive but there would be 99% less dust and cleaning up after. They were very clear in what my options were and explained how long it would take and what they would do. 2 days later they came done exactly what they said they would do. That was a month ago, I have since had my utility room painted and it looks great. Very happy with the experience and professionalism of Kieran and his crew.
09/29/12 - They were prompt, professional, pleasant, friendly, very clean and efficient. They explained everything in detail before performing any work. I have a long hall and a steep staircase, it was all cracks and had fluffy plaster in places from water damage. They completely plastered walls and ceiling and the walls are as smooth as glass now, it is a shame I have to paint it. They cleaned up every day before leaving and it was a fantastic experience. 08/21/12 - The walls and ceiling in my formal dining room were bad with flaky plaster, they needed to be repaired. There was a molding on the ceiling which I thought could not be repaired but to my surprise, when Bestwall Plastering came to give me the estimate, they told me it can be repaired and they could replace/make a replica of the missing pieces, I was so happy. They re-plastered the walls, the ceiling and repaired the molding. My dining room is fabulous now. I received wonderful service from Bestwall Plastering and will be recommending them to everyone I know.
08/1/12 - We have an older home 1935 which had some serious water damage and some of the ceilings /walls and plaster molding that needed repair. We contacted Bestwall Plastering who arrived on time looked at the job and he carefully explained the entire process from start to finish, A concern of ours was the dust problem, But everything was protected prior to work been started and they use veneer plaster not drywall compound so there is no sanding, they worked very fast and left our home very clean .They took a profile of the plaster molding and actually made it on the job Everything looks great would highly recommend Bestwall Plastering for any detailed work.
07/7/12 - Bestwall Plastering came on July 3rd to see the job and gave an estimate which I found was reasonable. He returned Friday at 8:30 am to perform services.They did a great job. You cannot tell that there was a window and door in the walls that he repaired. I believe that the $75 consultation charge is reasonable for a professional to estimate the cost of a job. The consultation charge was deducted from the cost of the job. I would definitely call him again.
06/23/12 - Kieran is the master of plaster! He resurfaced a hideous stucco ceiling in my dining room and it is even and smooth. He also removed two large and heavy beams and all the crown molding from my living room and smoothed them over. The third room, the bedroom had sagging plaster between the ceiling beams and he strengthened and smoothed it to perfection, His actions define "professional" - from his accomplished skills as a plasterer to his customer service. I would recommend Kieran without reservations. A+++

06/12/12 - Needed elaborate plaster molding installed in my kitchen to match my living room was built in 1880. Bestwall arrived explained the job and gave us a written proposal. They came back 2 days later took a cast of the mold and re-created the plaster molding. Installed the new plaster molding and it looks terrific. We found it hard to find a company that can still do this type of work. They were clean, very fast friendly and finished on time.
05/9/12 - He showed up on time looked at the job. He explained the whole process of the work including how long it would take and gave us a written estimate. They started and worked very fast using what they called veneer plaster. They cleaned up very well and the ceiling looks perfect. Very personable, reliable would highly recommend for anybody looking to have plaster work performed.

12/4/11 - The bathroom ceiling fell down due to a leak from the upstairs apartment. I called Bestwall Plastering and they came, gave me an estimate and returned 2 days later to do the work. They were clean, courteous, professional and highly recommended and the price was right! The ceiling is perfect now and they painted also. Definitely will use again if any more plastering work is needed.

10/8/11 - I had 2 rooms in my house that need work done, Bestwall Plastering came out and gave me an estimate to re-skim the entire rooms. When they arrived to do the work, they covered all the areas they were going to be working in with plastic so the work would not interrupt the rest of my home. The job took 4 days and the rooms look magnificent just like new. There was no sanding involved as they used polished plaster not spackle/compound. They were professional, clean and very courteous. I will be contacting them again in the New Year to get some more work done.

12/15/10 - Kieran had to match an existing plaster molding on the ceiling/wall which was water damaged from a recent leak. They started the job on time, took samples of the molding and when restored the match of the molding was absolutely exact. They also removed water damaged parts of the ceilings and walls and repaired them to look like it never happened. Kieran and his staff were very clean, courteous and quick doing their work, and done a lot of extra work which they did not charge us for. I would definitely recommend this company for any plaster restoration work you need to do. "Kieran is not only a master craftsman, he was a pleasure to have in our home. 01/07/10 - One of the most important factors to me is that Kieran loves old houses the way we do. They understand how to handle horsehair plaster & can replace decorative moldings. They don't push you. They describe what they are going to do, does it just that way, and walk you around afterwards to explain it all, including how things will change over the next month. You have the feeling that Kieran, who has worked all over Europe before coming to the Northeast, has heard every customer question before and handles it before you even think to ask. I will definitely use Bestwall again.

He was able to beautifully repair my botched DIY plaster job taking into consideration every detail such as plastering around the medicine cabinet and light fixture. Kieran was also very accommodating in fitting the immediate need of my job into his very busy schedule. As I'm a DIYer, he was very forthcoming with plastering tips from his vast professional experience and didn't mind at all letting me watch him work.
